The prior green flag contains a gold-colored star and crescent moon that represent Islam. Now red lines are added to the top and bottom. These lines are added to signify the sacrifices of the country for protection.

2. Malawi
Malawi is one of those countries that changed its flag twice. Firstly, the flag was changed in 2010. The flag adopted in 2010 replaced the rising red sun with the full white sun. However, the original flag was re-adopted in 2012. This flag contains three strips of red, black, and green color. The rising sun was placed in the center that represents the freedom they gain from Britain in July 1964.

3. Libya
Libya changed its flags several times after independence. The first flag was approved just after the independence in 1951. However, the flag was changed by Libyan President Muammar Gaddafi in 1969, and a new flag based on philosophical beliefs was adopted. This green color flag was known as the Arab Liberation flag. After Gaddafi's rule termination original flag was adopted by the new government on February 17, 2011.

Myanmar, previously known as Burma, also changed its flag with the change of its name in 1974. The flag contains tricolor horizontal bands of green, red, and yellow color. A white star was placed in the middle that represents their solidarity. The previously socialist flag was red with a blue box in the upper left corner.

6. Venezuela
Venezuela's new flag was approved by President Hugo Chavez in 2006. The flag was changed to represent the Guyana province. The old flag contained tricolor horizontal strips. The strips were of blue, red, and green color. In the center, seven stars were placed in a semicircle position. However, in the new flag, eight stars are placed in a semicircle position. The rest of the structure is the same. The additional eighth star represents the Guyana province that was part of Venezuela during independence.

7. Montenegro
Montenegro was also one of those countries that changed its flag. Montenegro approved his new flag in July 2004. The previous flag that ha been adopted in 1994 comprised three strips of red, blue, and white. However, the new flag comprises solid red background with golden strips on the borders and the country's arm coat in the center. The new flag is inspired by the previous flag that was used till 1994.

Georgia replaced his previous flag with the new one on January 25, 2004. The new flag contains a national symbol of the country. It was a banner used by the Meidevel Kingdom of Georgia.
