10. Stelvio-Pass-Italy

The road was originally built in 1825 to link the old Austrian province of Lombardy with Austria. Stelvio pass remains closed during snow falling and remains open from June to August. It is most important for sports. Every year in August it remains closed for one day for vehicles when cycling and running races are organized.  This day is known as Stelvio Bike day and Stelvio Marathon day.

9. 99-Bend Road to Heaven-China

11 kilometers long road in Tianmen Mountain National Park China that has been named as 99-Bend Roads to heaven due to the presence of 99 hairpin turns. It is located several feet above in the air. During its construction, a lot of people died. This road becomes tricky during bad weather. This road also contains areas on the mountain peaks with a glass floor that was made for the tourists. It also contains the Tianmen temple that was made during the Tang dynasty. People can visit this temple only with the help of a chairlift or footpath.

8. Pan American Highway

This road is present in North American from Alaska to Chile and it is considered a dangerous route to travel. Its length is 48000 kilometers and it is characterized by excessive terrains and wild animals. It connects all the Pacific countries of America. It passes from the nine countries. Between Panama and Colombia a106 kilometer gap is presently known as Darien Gap. Due to this gap, there is no connection between South and Central America. It is located at Cordillera Oriental Mountain Range in Bolivia at 2000 feet above the surface of the earth. It connects La Paz city with Yungas. This road contains 200 hairpin twirls. Due to the presence of no guardrails, it is really risky to travel. Also due to weather conditions such as fog and dust viability approaches zero. 200 to 300 people die every year on this road. In 2006 this road has been improved a lot such as the width of the road has been increased and guardrails are added.
